Typhon-Set

Set (see also Seth and Typhon) is an ancient Egyptian god of the desert, storms, foreigners, darkness and chaos. In art he was mostly depicted as a mysterious and unknown creature referred to as the Set animal or Typhonic beast.

Most myths surrounding Set involve his numerous evil actions against his fellow gods. His jealousy towards Osiris led him to kill and dismember the god. In his conflict with Osiris’s son, Horus, Set poked out the god’s left eye but got his testicles removed in the process.
